Does re-steeping mean love or cheapskate

When with your significant other, what does it say that you re-steep your favorite gyokura (shaded green tea from Japan, typically expensive) and give him/her the 2nd cup. Given that excellent Japanese green are meant to be enjoyed through multiple steepings, I think it says great things….like, let’s enjoy this tea time together, let’s try this tea in its different forms across multiple steepings, or let’s not spend more than our budget allows on tea (allowing us to focus on a smaller quantity of the best teas). Of course, to make this work, you must be the recipient of the re-steeped tea as often as your partner. If you follow this rule you are all set (while adjusting both steeping time and temperature for the 2nd steeping and beyond).
